Led an organization review required to support a successful transition to agile development and cloud computing for large publishing company. Project involved in-depth stakeholder analysis of success criteria and development of practical, yet effective change management plans.
Optimized overall IT service delivery value while aligning costs to industry benchmarks at a global biopharmaceutical manufacturer firm. Target cost reduction exceeded $15 million annually while improving overall internal customer satisfaction by 25%.
Delivered a 2 year $40M infrastructure transformation program on time, under budget and exceeded success criteria milestones for a global biopharmaceutical manufacturer. Positive outcome required exiting an infrastructure outsourcing agreement, recruiting and managing organizational change required to build a world class IT Infrastructure organization, and establishing ITIL based service management disciplines. Scope included the delivery of a stable, secure global network, migrating 575 business systems to a newly built, private cloud based data center, and improving end user support and service delivery. Results achieved included a 50% time reduction in the delivery of servers from 6 months to 3 days and a drastic reduction of IT Infrastructure operating expenses. Outcome resulted in a CEO and CIO award for contribution to strategic business goals.
Led a transformation project at the national not for profit that reduced technology departmental costs by over 20% through application rationalization and enterprise data center outsourcing. Project was delivered on time, within budget and was recognized by ARC management.
Designed and implemented a national not for profit’s IT Executive Dashboard, IT Governance and IT Balanced Scorecard establishing baseline for performance – and ultimately improving customer satisfaction.

Directed technical and business systems operations supporting $2B in operations and over 180 North American operations at global construction sales and services company. Responsible for a team of over 170 IT professionals and $25M budget. Also, managed $17M P&L fire monitoring call center with 125 call center team members. Increased service delivery capability by 50% while reducing operating expense by 25% via improved network, email, sales compensation, security systems, and processes.
Relocated a large retail bank’s Internet-based commercial money management application environment along with the associated disaster recovery environment from New York to New Jersey and Delaware with no disruption to client services. The relocation was completed just weeks before September 11th challenged its disaster recovery capabilities. The Disaster Recovery capabilities switched over as designed and without business interruption.
