Executive Presence Applied

The ExPi assesses the executive’s presence against three dimensions: Character, Substance, and Style against their own perception and those of their raters:

• Character qualities are fundamental to the leader as a person to his/her identity, which give us reason to trust them and give them the benefit of the doubt
• Substance are the cultivated qualities of adult development specific to a career in leadership, which inspire commitment, inform action, and lead to an above-and-beyond effort
• Style are the active, iterative qualities of communicative leadership that build motivation, and that shape and sustain performance

The data is consolidated in a confidential report, and the coach interprets the findings with the leader in the context of their role, business challenges, and imperatives. The leader will come away with new insights that will guide the remainder of their development sessions.

Once the Bates ExPI™ Insights session has taken place, the leader will receive an additional three virtual coaching sessions to establish actions and to engage their sponsor in their development. The engagement is designed to take place within a 90-day period to jumpstart their development.
